Making a green fee booking: With our extensive experience, over 18 years in the golf holiday market you can be confident when booking with us. To ensure we are able to reserve the tee times and dates you require it is necessary for us to take your credit card details at time of booking, the courses will not hold tee times until a firm booking ismade. Payment will not be taken until we have booked the golf as requested by you. If we are unable to provide you with tee times within the parameters provided we will come back to you with alternatives and discuss options, we will not take payment until you confirm the alternatives are acceptable.
Deposits and Payments: To complete your booking Practitravel require a 20 per cent deposit paid by credit card, this can be done by using our secure booking system on the website, (please do not send credit card details by e.mail) or by Fax or telephone. The full payment is due 6 weeks prior to arrival – as soon as full payment is made we will send your travel documents to your home, if time does not permit these will be sent by e.mail. We do not charge a credit card fee, and your price also includes all taxes (additional charge made if there is a change to tax rates ie VAT (IVA).
GOLF: We realise changes to golf bookings are sometimes necessary, we will accept free of charge any changes made within 7 days of our confirmation to you. Please note that any changes to your golf booking after this period will be at 10euros per days golf (not per person).
Tee Times: Our aim is always to book for our clients the days and times they require, usually, given a reasonable amount of notice this is possible, however due to the high volume of golfers during the high season, this may not always be possible. Where we are unable to fulfil your requirements exactly we will offer alternatives, if these are not suitable you may cancel or change without charge within the 7 day period, detailed above.
Handicaps: Most golf courses require 28/36 handicap, some slightly less. It is important to bring your handicap certificate with you. Practitravel SL are not responsible where play is not allowed due to non-provision of handicap certificate. (Where a golfer does not have an official handicap a local PGA Pro will usually provide a certificate of competence which most courses will accept).
Soft Spikes: In most instances the golf courses require soft spikes, and will not allow play without them. Course Etiquette: Please observe normal golfing dress code and behaviour. Trainers are not allowed on Costa del Sol golf courses.
Buggies: Where buggies are included in your green fee this will be clearly shown on your documentation. We will reserve buggies where possible if requested, however, many courses have ample buggies and pre-booking is not required.
Spanish Federation Fee: A levy is charged to all golfers visiting Spain, approx 2€. Most courses include this in the green fee, where it is requested at the course, it has not been included in your green fee.
Course Closure: In the event of rain a course may decide to close. If the course is closed PractitravelSL will refund your green fee (we must have confirmation of closure from the golf course). If a course stays open no refunds are available.

Holiday Bookings:
Accommodation: Full details of your type of accommodation will be in your quote and confirmation. Self-catering suppliers charge a small deposit against breakages, this varies between resort and is payable directly on arrival, (refunded at end of holiday). Accommodation is for the use of the of the clients stated on the confirmation, suppliers permit only those booked to use the facilities. Any special requests will be passed to the supplier and confirmed and supplied where possible. (Practitravel SL are not responsible where facilities are temporarily not available).
Car Hire/Transfers: These will be booked for you as requested and confirmed to you, please see Voucher and Car Hire section of web for full details of bookings and rental conditions.
Disturbances: At golf venues, we accept no responsibility for loss of green fees or deposits where a person is refused play due to unacceptable behaviour, nor are we responsible where deposits etc., are forfeited at hotels/self-catering/resorts due to bad behaviour.
Insurance: We advise all clients not to travel without adequate holiday insurance.
Cancellation: Practitravel SL realise that sometimes it is necessary to cancel a booking, we try to make this as unrestrictive as possible, however, we are bound by our suppliers conditions:
If you wish to cancel your booking this must be done in writing. All courses have different cancellation policies, we will refund you where this is available from the golf course, the 6€ per person, per course will apply as a cancellation fee for golf.
Accommodation/Car Hire/Transfers:
Accommodation & Coach Transfers:
These suppliers offer no refund for cancellations made within 6 weeks of arrival. Any of these services cancelled prior to the 6 week period will incur an admin fee of 10€.
Car hire: Can be cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival and will incur a 10€ admin fee.
Travel Documents: Your vouchers for golf/accommodation/car hire and/or transfers will be e.mailed, or posted to your home, or you can collect from the Miraflores Golf Academy if you prefer. Please ensure you have your vouchers with you to give to the Caddy Master, please report to the Caddy Master 30 minutes prior to play time. Accommodation/Car Hire and Transfer vouchers must be handed to the supplier on arrival.
SPAIN GOLF GREENFEES SL: Supply to you as an agent for the various suppliers. Each supplier has their own individual terms and conditions, these will apply to your booking.
